For the 2014-2015 60th Anniversary Season, Ahmadi Music Group’s tentative season plan is

12, 13, 14 November, Messa da Requiem, by Giuseppe Verdi

The full AMG Choir and Symphony Orchestra will join with international soloists to stage this concert work, among the most dramatic and emotive ever written.

5, 6 December, Family Seasonal Concert

Performed (almost) annually since 1954, the AMG choir sings a mix of classics, favourites and popular works from the vast seasonal repertoire.  Suitable for children and with a well-loved visitor from the North Pole.

18, 19, 20 March, The Pearl Fishers, by Georges Bizet

This exotic and highly romantic opera takes place in Ceylon, and combines oriental and western music, dance, costumes, with a timeless story of two men in love with the same woman.  The best of friends, they have agreed not to pursue her, only to have her re-appear years later and re-awaken forbidden feelings.

22, 23, 24 April, AMG Spring

The orchestra and choir will join in a beautiful outdoor setting for a selection of classical and popular works, and plenty of audience sing-along.  Followed by outdoor picnic and fun time for all.
